The inspiration of and appreciation for Walt Disney knows no boundaries. The membership at The Walt Disney Family Museum certainly reflects this diversity. Each month, we’ll introduce you to one of our Members, so you can see the varied and frequently fascinating people, who have come together to learn and experience more about the life, work, philosophies, and ideals of Walt Disney. The Walt Disney Family has gone to the dogs during the month of September, and we'll be hosting our first Doggie Adopt-a-thon in partnership with the SFSPCA and other local rescue groups tomorrow, Saturday, September 29 from 12pm to 3pm!

Next month, our first major exhibition Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: The Creation of a Classic will open to the public! I recently learned about the connection between stop motion animation and the frighteningly real dinosaurs in the film. Stop motion has “found a way” so to speak of remaining relevant and interesting in an age of enormous digital capacity...
